Gaia Dress
Inspired by Mother Nature, the Gaia Dress is a sweet, feminine frock with a full skirt embossed with stem and leaf lace. There are a few options for the dress, simple ones however; such as dress length (make it a swing top!) and sleeves (sleeveless, short or full length). The Gaia Dress consists of literally thousands of purl stitches, but the stem and leaf lace really breaks up the monotony nicely and the final result is breathtaking! I suggest for yarns selection you choose a semi solid or solid colored yarn, if you go with a colorway be sure it’s subtle or your lacework will get lost in the color patterning.
The Gaia Dress pattern was designed for the Intermediate knitter, a basic knowledge of knitting is required. NO chart knowledge is needed for the stem and leaf lace pattern- I have written it out longhand, but there is a chart included for those who like to knit from them.
