Gail is named after my wonderful mother-in-law. The pattern is 15 inches in diameter and uses 275 yards of size 10 thread. I made my doilies with Scheepjees Maxi Sugar Rush in Apple Green and Fuchsia. The Pineapples are symbol of hospitality and have long been used in doilies, tablecloths and bedspreads. My pineapples have texture using treble stitch and back post double crochets. The fans use back post double crochet and front post double crochet to give them their texture. The pattern is well written with repeats within the rounds in red text to facilitate easy reading. Special notes are used as well.
