Mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his birth in 1981. He made his debut in Donkey Kong before I was even born! Breaking the mold of the handsome and fit hero this short, chubby stereotypical Italian plumber has saved Princess Peach over and over again. He lives with his brother in the Mushroom Kingdom, and eats magical mushrooms to gain temporary powers…a thing I suspect his college age fans might be able to relate to. ;)
