This lovely easy lace shawl can look elegant in silk, fuzzy in mohair, or simply fun, in variegated yarn.

It is surprising easy to knit and is suitable for beginner + as long as they don’t use silk on the first go round. Some lace experience is recommended. For skilled knitters, this is a very fast knit.

The pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.

The sample was made with Handmaiden’s luxurious Double Sea Silk, which I would call a dk - light worsted weight yarn.

The silk finished dimensions are 16 inches x 84 inches, but is easily adjusted.
