Galanthus, named for the snowdrop flower, is a crocheted asymmetric shawl worked in stages. The main body and the white insert are crocheted separately in different directions and joined as-you-go while finishing the first edge of the insert. The green edging following the white insert embellishes the side edge and emphasizes the contrasting lace section.
