I thought this pattern looked very “turtley” but I didn’t want to name it the “turtle beanie” because I thought that was too obvious and a little hideous for such a handsome hat. The Galapagos is a giant species of turtle found in the Galapagos islands. These turtles can weight up to 919 lbs and can enjoy a lifespan of over 100 years.
