This is the “The Galaxy Capelet” pattern updated, to add stars (beads) and to make the pattern available directly through Ravelry sales as a PDF.

The black beaded version of the capelet was knit in an unidentified brand of DK weight boucle spun cashmere yarn. Washed gauge= 24st/32r = 4”.

I have had knitters comment that the neck opening measurements appear to be smaller than pictured. The Milky Whey yarn will wet block to a larger gauge (24sts/in) than your knitting gauge. If substituting yarns you want to be very careful to cast on loosely so that you get the desired size of the neck opening.
