Galaxy is a triangle shawl knit from the bottom tip to the top. Increases are worked on both right and wrong side rows. It’s knit in an easy 4 stitch star pattern that I found in a vintage knitting from the 1800s. Finished size: 62” wide x 26” long (unblocked) This lacy design can be blocked or left unblocked. You may knit it with whatever yarn weight and needle size you desire and make it as large as you like. The pattern originally appeared in the Holiday Mystery Group knitalong in August 2011.
