The third sock in the TRIBUTE SERIES, this sock is inspired by Gale Hawthorne, a character from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. He is a cunning hunter who specializes in using snares (a skill that serves him well in later books). His name, Gale, is also a type of storm, a force of nature. This sock is meant to combine those two aspects of Gale. A cyclone of cables wraps around the leg, creating a snare-like web.

This is a cuff down sock with 4 sizes (XS/youth, S, M, L) Instructions have been included for a simple and fancy shaped toe. There are also instructions for adjusting leg and heel length.

The right and left socks are mirror images of each other. Separate charts and instructions have been provided for where the socks differ because of this mirroring. Some charts (foot, instep, heel) have highlighted cable crossings to note the difference between the two socks. The charts have been arranged so that you only need to print out 3 pages of charts total for each size.
