A simple crochet cowl with a repetitive pattern, inspired by long walks on a picturesque beach in Portugal that was covered in beautiful scallop shells in the prettiest shades of peach and brown

Construction:
Crocheted in rows in 2 halves, with the slightly shorter second half starting from the opposite side of the foundation chain.

About the Yarn:
Baa Baa Brew is a hand dyed British yarn, launched in 2016 by Baa Baa Brighouse. Each colour is named after an area of Brighouse, which is the town in which the yarn is dyed. Baa Baa Brew is 100% British Blue-faced Leicester Double Knitting yarn and is a collection of semi-solid colours. For more information, see www.baabaabrighouse.co.uk.

Notes:
This pattern uses approximately half of each 100g skein (50g;112m;122yds), leaving enough yarn to make the Baltum Mittens.

Alternatively, you could make your scarf in a single colour and use just 1 x 100g skein.

Size:
160cm long and 21cm deep

Hook:
3.5mm (US E/4)

Time to make:
Galicia took me about 6 hours to make, not including washing and blocking time

Gauge:
1 row measures 15cm (6in) and 8 rows measure 10cm (4in)

This pattern is currently only available as part of Take Two (Collection One - Crochet).
