NOT for expert lace knitters! Created with beginning lace knitters in mind. Simple stitches: knit, yarn over, knit-2-together and slip-slip-knit. All rows are knit, no purl stitches involved. The stitch pattern itself is repetitive, consisting of 7-rows with the yarn overs one way followed by 7-rows of the yarn overs in a different spot; always alternating with a knit row. This makes the finished project totally reversible. It will be up to the knitter if they want fringes to finish the shawl. Pattern does not include how-to make fringes, since there are excellent videos on YouTube that demonstrate how that is done.
