This large crescent shawl was inspired by the life and works of the incredible Mary Shelley. Her first novel, Frankenstein, was groundbreaking and the first true science fiction story. More than that, it is a thoughtful look at humanity, at our need for love and kindness, and at the toll of loneliness. I wish for this project to be for you a warm embrace against the cold when the wind blows, and a joyful hug when your heart needs a lift. May its scars make you smile and feel as resilient as Mary Shelley herself.
