This textured stocking features just knit and purl stitches and is worked from the top down, ending with a rounded toe. The pattern is designed to be knit using Galway Wool and comes with two gauge options: the first knit with a single strand of yarn and 4mm needles and the second with the yarn held double throughout using 7mm needles (perfect if time is getting short in the run up to Christmas Eve!)

There are instructions for a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however this can be changed to your own choice of short row or FLK heel. They are knit in the round using the magic loop method, but can be adapted to suit your preferred method of knitting in the round.
