Gambian Sun was created while I was on vacation in The Gambia.

Gambian Sun is a 20-inch square, made with Stylecraft Special DK and hook size 4mm/G.
Total yarn used approx. 151 gr = 445.5 m/ 486.2 yards.
Should you choose to use a thicker yarn and larger hook, your project will of course be larger in size, and you will need more yarn.

The pink version, made with 5 colours, was used for the tutorial.
Colours used are:
Cream
Pistachio
Plum
Clematis
Magenta

The orange version was made with 4 colours.
Colours used are:
Saffron
Copper
Clementine
Spice

You can find both colourways and amounts per round listed in the other pdf.
There is also an open space to write in your own colours if you want to make it with yarn of your stash. Only thing to do is to do some math how much you will need of the colour you want to use and then weigh it to see if you have enough.

The pattern is available in US and UK terms.

You have the options to choose the pdf with the phototutorial and the pdf as written only (just 1 photo).

If you order 1 skien of each colour you will have more then enough to make an other one and create a cushion cover like one of my testers made.
