positive ease at the chest.

The sample shown is size 2 with 15cm of positive ease.

Yarn:

This garment is worked in two colours of the same yarn base, which is very light and fluffy with a halo, that’s why just 25g of the yarn gives so many metres.

These quantities are approximate. The total amount required will also depend on the type of fibre used, your gauge, or any modifications you may make to the pattern.

It’s very likely for this garment in particular that you may want to make it longer on the body, in which case you will need more of your contrast colour.

Needles:

• 4.5mm circular needles with a cable of 60cm or size needed to get gauge.
• 4mm circular needles for working in the round in a small circumference for the neck.
• 5mm with a cable of 60cm for the jacquard colourwork.
• 4.5mm needles for working in the round in a small circumference for the top part of the sleeve.
• 3mm needles for working in the round in a small circumference for the cuffs.

Other Materials:

• 5 stitch markers, one of which should be distinct from the others to mark the beginning of the round.
• A long cable with a connector to allow you to try on the item as you go.
• Waste yarn of the same weight, but a contrasting colour and a smooth fibre for the provisional tubular cast-on
• Waste yarn, cable, etc … for leaving the sleeve stitches on hold.
• A tape measure, tapestry needle, and scissors.

Gauge: In stockinette stitch 10x10cm is
16.5 stitches x 24 rounds before blocking
16 stitches x 23 rounds after blocking

It is advisable to note down the measurements of your swatch before and after blocking to allow you to estimate the final measurements.

CONSTRUCTION:

GAMBITO is worked seamlessly top-down in the round. It
combines two colours of the same yarn base to make the checked pattern.

The instructions are detailed in the following sequence:

Cast on stitches for the neck.
Raise the back of the neck and sleeve caps using German
short rows.
Work the yoke, giving it shape with rounds of increases.
Separate body and sleeves.
And continue working each part separately to the desired
length.

Si tu contorno de pecho es mayor no dudes en contactarme y te escalo la talla a la medida que necesites.

Medidas finales de la prenda en el contorno de pecho en cm:

Este jersey está diseñado para ser llevado con una holgura de entre unos 10 y 20 cm aproximadamente en el contorno del pecho.

El modelo de la fotografía es la talla 2 y lleva una holgura de 15 cm.

Hilado: La prenda va tejida en dos colores de una misma calidad de hilado muy ligero y con pelito, de ahí que sólo 25 g de hilado tenga tantos metros.

Estas cantidades son aproximadas. El metraje total de hilo empleado va a depender también del tipo de hilado, tensión o de las modificaciones que hagamos a la prenda.

Es muy probable que esta prenda en concreto la quieras más larga del cuerpo, en ese caso necesitarás más hilado de color contraste.

En el modelo de la fotografía para la talla 2 y altura de 1.56 m hemos usado:

Agujas:

• Circulares de 4.5 mm con cable de 60 cm o grosor adecuado para obtener la tensión de la muestra.
• Circular de 4 mm especiales para círculo pequeño para el cuello.
• Circulares de 5 mm con cable de 60 cm para el jacquard.
• Circulares de 4.5 mm especiales para círculo pequeño para la parte alta de la manga.
• Circulares de 3 mm especiales para círculo pequeño para los puños.

Otros materiales:

• 5 marcadores, uno de ellos distinto de los demás para marcar el inicio de vuelta.
• Cable largo con conector o cualquier útil para ir probándonos la prenda.
• Un trozo de hilo contrastante del mismo grosor y sin pelito para el montaje provisional del montaje tubular.
• Un trocito de hilo, cable, etc … para dejar en espera los puntos de las mangas.
• Cinta métrica, aguja lanera y tijeras.

Tensión:

A punto liso 10x10 cm son:

16.5 puntos y 24 vueltas antes del bloqueo.
16 puntos y 23 vueltas después del bloqueo.

Es aconsejable anotar las medidas de la muestra antes y después del bloqueo, de esa forma podremos estimar las medidas finales de la prenda.

CONSTRUCCIÓN:

GAMBITO se teje en circular de arriba hacia abajo sin costuras. Combina dos colores de una misma calidad de hilado para hacer el dibujo de los cuadraditos.

Las indicaciones se detallan siguiendo la siguiente secuencia:

1. Montamos los puntos para el cuello.
2. Damos la subida del escote trasero y pendiente del hombro con pasadas acortadas alemanas.
3. Tejemos el canesú dándole forma con vueltas de aumentos. - Separamos mangas y cuerpo.
4. Y seguimos tejiendo cada parte por separado hasta el largo deseado.

Diese Mengen sind eine ungefähre Angabe. Der gesamte Garnverbrauch hängt von dem ausgewählten Garn, der Fadenspannung und ggf. den individuellen Anpassungen ab. Es könnte sein, dass am Körper mehr Länge gewünscht ist. Dafür wird eine größere Menge der Kontrastfarbe notwendig sein.

Für das Modell Größe 2 auf dem Foto und einer Körpergröße von 156 cm wurde verwendet:

Nadeln:

Weitere Materialien:

• 5 Maschenmarkierer: 1 anders als die 4 anderen, um den Beginn der Runde zu markieren.
• Langes Kabel mit einem Verbindungsstück oder anderes Werkzeug, um den Pullover während des Strickens anprobieren zu können.
• Glattes Restgarn in einer Kontrastfarbe für den provisorischen italienischen Maschenanschlag.
• Restgarn oder ein Kabel, um die Maschen der Ärmel stillzulegen.
• Maßband, Wollnadel und eine Schere.

Maschenprobe: Glatt rechts 10x10 cm:

16.5 Maschen und 24 Runden vor dem Spannen.
16 Maschen und 23 Runden nach dem Spannen.

Es ist empfehlenswert die Maße der Maschenprobe vor und nach dem Spannen zu notieren, um die fertigen Maße abschätzen zu können.

Anmerkungen zur Konstruktion:

GAMBITO wird in der Runde nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Für den Abschnitt mit den Quadraten werden 2 Farben derselben Garnqualität miteinander kombiniert.

Die Anleitung ist in den folgenden Abschnitten aufgeteilt:

Wir schlagen die Maschen für den Halsausschnitt an.
Dem Rücken wird durch verkürzte Reihen (German Short Rows) Höhe hinzugefügt.
Die Rundpasse erhält durch Zunahmen die gewünschte Form und Größe.
Der Körper und die Ärmel werden aufgeteilt.
Der Körper und die Ärmel werden separat bis zur gewünschten Länge gestrickt.
