This spring has come with a lot of basketball games for my husband and I and along with that came the want to make a little grey cardigan to wear to games. I usually wear jeans and a jersey to the games so I wanted something casual I could wear with a casual outfit or over something dressier and I feel this does just that.
I’ve started trying my hand at different stitch techniques and patterns recently and eventually landed on what I wanted to use for this piece.

The mixture of half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet in this pattern gives it a slouchy feel as well. That paired with simple construction makes this a great piece for beginners and advanced crocheters alike.
