Ganesha
Overlay mosaic crochet pattern!
This pattern has both written and graph directions (including a big graph for those who use electronic devices and/or Knit Companion), with two versions (a square -- pictured-- and a bigger/longer rectangle version). There is also a link to a quickie tutorial on diagonal stitches, as there are just a few in Ganesh’s eyebrows!
Beginner hints included (separate document) for those who crochet but are new to mosaic.
Ganesh is a beloved deity in the Hindu pantheon, known as the “remover of obstacles.” He is my personal favorite and I hope you love him too!
Yardage will vary depending on version and your tension. I used about 2000 yards for my version, my tester used closer to 3000.
Happy hooking! :)
