Gangbit
by Chuck Wright
Gangbit is a hat conceived to use up some of these small 25g balls of wool I seem to keep collecting. The hat that emerged from this experiment is very lightweight and pocket-able, but surprisingly warm due to the stranded colorwork.
Two color variations are charted and a third chart is given lightly printed so you can fill in your own colors if you prefer.
“Gangbit” is an old Shetland word for ‘the marking of a sheep’s ear’
