Gannon Mittens
by Kris Carlson
The mittens are knit in the round and designed to have the cable hug the top of the hand with the palm in seed stitch. Having the mitten constructed this way, there are not equal amounts of cable hand stitches to palm stitches. With a unique cable side only decrease, the problem is solved. If you wish to customize the length of the mittens, while maintaining the same unique decreased top, then adjust when you start the thumb increases. The mittens needs at least 2 skeins to complete and used approximately 90 yrds for each mitten.
