GAPs
I love to knit shawls and I buy beautiful yarn for this purpose. I try to use as much of the yarn as possible for each shawl, but sometimes it is not possible to use all of it.
This scarf was created to fill that gap and use all the leftover yarn from my beautiful shawls.
I hope you will also find it the perfect project for your leftover yarn, yarn that is too amazing to go to waste.
Sample shawl:
Yarn: Exquisite Sport Colour Adventures (sport) 115 g (4.06 oz)/366 m (400 yards).
Yardage: 124.4 meters (136.0 yards)
Needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular needle 80 cm/32”
Finished dimensions: length – 156 cm (61.4 in), width – 12,5 cm (4.9 in)
Suggested yarns: from lace to dk – leftovers from other shawls
Tools: 4 mm (US 6) suggested for sport weight, adjust needles up or down for different weights of yarn. Make sure you are getting a fabric you like with your needle size.
Gauge:
5 sts & 5 rows = 2.5x2.5 cm (1x1 inch) in gap stitch after blocking. The gauge is not crucial.
