The garden messenger bag features a functional pocket with flowers growing out of them along with bows, and an adjustable strap (instructions for non-adjustable straps are also given). The pattern also includes instructions on how to line your bag.

• This pattern includes suggestions on how many STS you should make and for how long you should work each panel for. It also includes made-to-measure instructions so you can make your bag as large or small as you want.

Materials:

• Recommended yarn: worsted/aran (size 4) weight yarn for the bag & DK (size 3) weight yarn for the flowers. (I do not recommend anything smaller than dk weight for the bag as you want it to be quite sturdy!)
• For reference, I used about 400g of Lily Sugar n’ Cream in sage & 50g in brown. For the rest of the colors, I used scrap yarns.
• Recommended hook size: 4.5mm hook for the bag & 3.5mm hook for the flowers. (Or any hooks that match the yarn weight/size you’re using.)
• Tape measure, scissors, yarn needle & stitch markers.
