I am often very inspired by the yarn in my stash. My mother purchased this amazing skein of Why Knot Fibers Selky DK for me at Wool and Honey in Cedar, MI during a summertime visit. After the first evening that dipped into the 60’s here in DC I was inspired to create a sweet confection from this skein.

The pattern repeat is 16 sts wide so you can customize the width around of this cowl easily.

The skein I used had 252 yards and I had a bit left over. My cowl also has a bit of a drape to it. You could cast on less stitches and make a cowl using closer to 200 yards.
