Pour ce printemps, j’avais envie de couleurs tendres, mais sans encore quitter totalement l’ambiance “cosy” de l’hiver : l’idée du jardin anglais, avec ses fleurs folles et son vert tendre s’est imposée. Le style des motifs est lui très fortement inspiré du mouvement artistique anglais “Arts & Crafts”.
Elles ont été créées pour accompagner les chaussettes Jardin Anglais

Quatre tailles disponibles :
18/19cm de circonférence de pied : 56m
20/21cm de circonférence de pied : 64m
22/23cm de circonférence de pied : 72m
24/25cm de circonférence de pied : 80m

La longueur de pied est ajustable.

J’ai utilisé 4 couleurs en “Merino High Twist” (80% mérino, 20% nylon), 365m pour 100gr de Phoebe and Mercy Yarns
C1 : 50gr / “Light of Eärendil”
C2 : 20gr / “Elrond’s Garden”
C3 : 20gr / “Hobbiton”
C4 : 20gr / “Frodo Baggins”

Echantillon
10cm = 34 mailles et 42 rangs
Pour le jacquard après blocage.
L’échantillon est tricoté en rond

Aiguilles
Aiguilles circulaires avec un câble de 70cm pour la technique du magic loop
Aiguilles 2.25mm pour les côtes / 2.5 pour le jacquard, ou toute autre taille d’aiguille vous donnant le bon échantillon.

Accessoires
Un marqueur pour le début du rang / trois petits marqueurs pour le jacquard.
Les marqueurs utilisés sont ceux de ma box exclusive “Jardin Anglais” du printemps 2023

For this spring, I wanted soft colors, but without completely leaving the “cosy” winter atmosphere : the idea of the english garden, with its wild flowers came to my minde. The style of the colorwork is strongly inspired by the artistic movement “Arts & Crafts”.
These shorty socks were created to compliment the Jardin Anglais Socks

Fingering weight sock yarn, in 4 colors. The sample was knitted with Merino High Twist (80% merino, 20% nylon) from Phoebe&Mercy Yarns, 400 yards or 365m/100g.
