Garden Path can be worn as a shawl or a scarf and has a gorgeously soft drape knitted in the merino/silk. It is knitted sideways and has both written and charted instructions.

Finished size is 29 cm/ 11 ins deep at the widest point and 160 cm/ 63 ins length.

Materials
4mm/US 6 circular needle or a pair of 4mm/US 6 straight needles.
100g/4oz of Happy Go Knitty 50% merino/50% silk yarn in 4ply/fingering weight.
1 stitch marker.
Yarn needle for sewing in ends.
Blocking pins for blocking.

Abbreviations
K - knit, k2tog - knit 2 stitches together, k3tog - knit 3 stitches together, kfab - knit into the front and back of the next stitch, p - purl, p1tbl - purl through the back loop, pm - place marker, psso - pass slipped stitch over, rep - repeat, sl 1 - slip 1 stitch, sm - stitch marker, som - slip over marker, ssk - slip, slip, knit (slip two stitches one at a time knitwise, knit the two slipped stitches together through back loops), st(s) - stitch(es), yo - yarn over.

23 sts and 31 rows to 10cm/4ins over stocking stitch on 4mm/US 6 needles unblocked. Gauge/tension is not crucial.

Note: To get the most out of your skein weigh it before starting. You will use 20% of your yarn for the increase section, 60% for the straight section and 20% for the decrease section.
