Garden Path Aran
This stitch pattern is a 4 row repeat. Yarn and hook choice are ip to you, I like it in an 8mm hook and #4 yarn, and I’m currently making a throw blanket with this pattern in either a 7mm hook, and a combo of mandala, which is dk,and lb of love. Check out the projects page to see the numbers fir that.
It looks fabulous in a solid yarn, like heartland, but really fancy (but not hard!) if you use 2 coordinating yarns.
There are instructions for both a single sided, and reversible fabric. The single sided lays flatter, and is suitable for garments & shawls. The reversible version is great for a blanket.
A quick explanation of hdss, as requested.
Yo (yarn over), insert hook into next st, pull up a loop, pull this loop through remaining loops. I’ve also seen this referred to as the yarn over slip stitch
