Garden Pathways Socks
This sock pattern will be available for free in July exclusively for members of the Barking Dog Yarns forum KAL.
This summer sock has a simple mosaic pattern on the instep, striped sole, short-row heel with mini-gusset and mini-heel flap, and decorative ribbed cuff.
Sock has minimal to moderate stretch. Mosaic pattern will pop using solid color yarns with high contrast or can be made subtle by combining a solid color yarn with a variegated yarn.
Sock can be made as ankle sock or with a mid-calf leg. Options include either generic or calculated foot length and Russian or Picot bind-off.
Difficulty rating for this pattern is advanced beginner to intermediate. Pattern assumes experience with toe-up sock construction, mosaic knitting, and chart reading. References and/or tutorials are included for most techniques. Stitch patterns are provided as sized charts.
