Finished Object Video - Garden Seeds Socks

Garden Seeds socks is a toe up sock pattern using fingering weight yarn with an afterthought heel.

The design chart is worked using mosaic knitting which you only use one colour per row. To maintain gauge, most tight knitters use a needle size bigger than required as the slip stitch method may create a tighter sock. I recommend that you knit one sock at a time to facilitate the knitting when using two contrasting yarn balls.

Size: 1, 2 (3, 4)
approx. foot circumference 8, 9 (10, 11.5) inches | 20, 23 (26, 29.5) cm
48, 56 (64, 72) sts

Gauge:
32 sts x 40 rnds = 4 inch / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch (8 sts per inch) with US 1 - 2.25 mm circular needles or needles to obtain the gauge

Materials:
• Needles: US 1 - 2.25 mm circular needles for magic loop
style 32 inch (80 cm) or needle size to obtain the gauge

• Yarn: Fingering - Main Colour (45 g) East of Three - 100g 464 yds (425m) 75% sw wool, 25% nylon, colour Jade (green)
Contrast Colour Motifs, Cuffs and Heels) - Mary Maxim Simply Sock - 100g 459 yds (420m), 75% sw merino, 25% nylon, colour 001 (grey)

• Notions: Two progress keepers for each sock to mark the sides of the heel and a Tapestry Needle
