Description
Seamless or pieced pullover in two lengths with small cables and rib details, modified raglan sleeves and a split hem.
I knit the first sample in pieces – because I wanted to. It was much easier to get my head around the construction, the placement of the cable and rib details, the raglans and shoulder dart shaping while working one piece at a time. Plus I love having a resting WS row, not wondering whether or not I’m on a cable row.
Knowing many knitters prefer to knit in the round, I knit the second sample (the beige/grey one) circularly, without seams.
You can choose between these two constructions, as well as two body lengths and two neck heights.
Note: The front and back are identical. There are no short rows. The placement of the decreases shapes the neck into a gentle curve. and the raglan sleeve caps add depth to the neck.
