Gardener's Prayer Hat
Designed as a set with Gardener’s Prayer Handwarmers. Both designs are designed with Nutiden, unspun pre-yarns by Höner och Eir.
The colours, texture and structure of the yarn are fascinating to me. As I studied and experimented with the yarn, I became interested in creating colour gradient and using embroidery to feature the beauty of the yarn.
The inspiration for Gardener’s Prayer came from my plants. They are the first things I take care of every morning after waking up. Praying for people and things you care for bring a deeper relationship with them, and a sense of peace.
I hope you will find joy and peace making and wearing Gardener’s Prayer.
SIZE
One size
Circumference: 46 cm, unstretched
Height from top to rim : 20 cm
If you wish to make your hat wider, you can adjust your gauge or work the repeat section one more time.
YARN
Höner och Eir Nutiden
Yarn is held single.
Approximately 30 g in total weight.
Sample uses 4 colourways: Pheasant as MC, Mallow as CC1, Olivetti as CC2, Elder Pear as CC3. CC2 and CC3 are different shades of green. CC2 is slightly darker than CC3. These 2 shades of green create a gradient effect.
It is a good idea to consider two colourways that will create a gradient effect when choosing CC2 and CC3. If you do not wish to create the gradient effect, you can use the same colourway for CC2 and CC3. In this case, you will use only 3 colourways.
