The flower in this design is adapted from one on an old Japanese kimono.

The sample used 2 skeins of madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, one in “Deep” and one in “Killing me softly”, and made a fairly thick, spongy fabric. The gauge is less important than whether or not you like the fabric.

The pattern includes a stranded-type chart, a double-knit chart, and full written instructions. 6 stitch markers are suggested.
