The gardenia skirt is an H-line skirt featuring front ties and a frilly hem designed with the vision of late winter & early spring in mind. It is inspired by the super cute bow-front tights/socks I’ve been seeing lately. <3

• Level of difficulty: intermediate and up. Confident beginners may try out this pattern, but I highly recommend starting with easier crochet projects via YT. :)
• Skills: basic crochet STS & some sewing/assembly.
• This is a made-to-measure pattern meaning that exact ST counts will not be given & you have to know how to measure yourself (a helpful YT vid is linked).

Materials:

• Recommended yarn weight: size 2/5-ply/sport weight yarn (I used Drops Safran). Exact amounts of yarn are within the pattern. I highly recommend looking through the tester lookbook to gauge how much yarn you’ll need.
• Recommended hook: 3mm crochet hook (or any hook that meets the gauge with your tension)
• Tape measure
• Scissors & yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Optional: elastic waistband (I recommend using one that is at least 1” (2.5cm) wide).
