This is my first drafted crochet pattern! Yippee! It was very much figure-out-as-you-go for me, so the instructions are by no means perfect. You have been warned. I designed this Garfield more like the 80’s and 90’s Garfield comics I grew up reading, but with outstretched arms and legs so that he’s more like a doll. This toy is designed to sit on a shelf. I definitely took some creative liberties with his face but I think he turned out so cute! Happy crafting!

Skills required: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, invisible decrease, prior experience of amigurumi styles, piecing (sewing), simple embroidery

Yarn weight: Worsted (4)
Gauge: gauge is not important for amigurumi; use whatever yarn you like and an appropriately sized hook
