This fitted, pointy peaked beanie uses a combination of knit rows, purled decrease rows, and knitted increase rows to create the beautiful “Garland” texture. It has a single brim and looks great with or without a pompom. It is a perfect unisex style beanie and is also lovely for children and babies.

What you will need:
46 (55, 71, 83) yd (42, 50, 65, 76 m) in any super bulky (category 6) weight yarn (like Malabrigo Rasta)
A faux fur pompom (optional)
Size 13 US (9 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cable
4 Size 13 US (9 mm) double pointed knitting needles (optional)
1 stitch marker
Tapestry yarn needle
Scissors

Skill level: Advanced Beginner

Skills needed: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, knitting in the round.
