This simple yet elegant two-colored shawl is knitted in merino wool. The shawl is worked sideways in one piece in garter stitch. Short rows add interest.

Finished measurements: approx 73” / 186cm wide and 16.5” / 42cm long at center.

Gauge: 28 sts / 55 rows = 4” / 10cm over garter stitch (matching exact gauge is not essential, but it will affect finished measurements of wrap and amount of yarn needed).

Required skills: Cable cast on, k wrapped st tog with its wrap, knit, sl1 wyib, sl1 wyif, ssk, w&t, yo.
