Notes: I designed this hat with the new knitter in mind. By starting the brim on straight needles in garter stitch, it is possible to custom fit the hat for the intended wearer right from the beginning. By changing colors you can make your cupcake any flavor you like, even adding sprinkles. I have knitted at least a dozen of these hats in different colors for adults and children alike. Never gets boring.
