Diane designed these easy mitts to fit any size hand.

Start by knitting a garter stitch band to fit your wrist. Sew the flat piece into a circle and pick up for your hand, you know have a mitt that fits perfectly.

Use one color for the whole mitt or knit the band in one color and the hand in another.

Latvian Braid is also optional - directions for the braid are given in the pattern.

Yarn
Any heavy worsted, or worsted weight yarn will work.

Gauge
5 sts. to 1 inch in stockinette

Needles

Double Pointed (or any needle for small circumference knitting) - Size 6
(or size needed to get gauge)
