This is a simple beginner friendly garter stitch scarf (all knit).

I have only provided one size option however this used up 1.5 balls of wool so if you wanted to make it wider i have provided suggestions to do that to use up 2 balls of wool.

The gauge is 9.5 st to 12.5 rows for 10x10cm or 5 st by 6 rows for 5x5cm BEFORE blocking.

The king cole yarn I have been using grows a LOT with blocking therefore I have made the scarf narrower and rigorously stretched it with blocking therefore i would strongly recommend blocking it when finished.

Although I do recommended blocking I still consider this to be a beginner friendly project because it grows very quickly, and you only need to know the knit stitch so therefore it is a less intimidating project, and the recommended yarn is self-striping so you get a pretty finished product from a very simple make.
