Ever want to knit a vanilla project and yet want the finished object to not be a vanilla project?
The Garter Rib Bliss Socks are a simple, knit purl texture that will fly off your needles. The pattern repeat is easily memorized, and is perfect for self stripping yarn. With the mixture of purl bumps and a fun twist in the cuff, the Garter Rib Bliss Socks will keep you entertained while also being your perfect on-the-go vanilla knitting.
Pattern Features:
-Both Charts and Written Instructions
-Shoe and foot charts for help in determining foot length
-My Hat Trick Toe, a toe that requires No Grafting!
-My Short Cut Heel, a heel that requires No Short Rows!
PATTERN NOTES:
Yarn- 50-100 grams of fingering weight yarn will be enough for any one size. Sample was knit with Knit Picks Felici (75% super-wash merino wool, 25% nylon; 231 yards per 50 grams) in the Chelsea colorway. Heels, Toes, and Cuffs were knit out of a 25 gram Yarn Bee mini skein (60% acrylic, 20% nylon, 20% wool).
Needles- 32-40 inch circular needle for magic loop in size US 2 (2.75mm). Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge- 32 stitches and 56 rounds over 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking. Notions: Scissors, yarn needle
Sizes: There are 5 sizes in the pattern, and the differing instructions for each are written as 1 (2, 3, 4, 5). Each size will give you a foot circumference measuring 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) inches; 12.5 (15, 18, 20, 23) centimeters.
