I wanted to design something with a bit of texture. I love the texture of garter stitch so I incorporated ridges of garter stitch. I wanted something other than a rib so I came up with this.

The pattern has two heel flap version one that is the basic slip knit heel flap. The second one continues the garter ridge into the heel flap
