This little baby blanket and hat are super easy to knit
making it perfect for beginners, yet is interesting enough
for a relaxing knit for all knitters. Alternating and
broadening stripes of two different yarns are used
throughout the blanket. The little trick of knitting both
yarns together in the first stitch of some rows (as
instructed) eliminates having to cut your yarns and also
makes a nice tidy edge. The hat is knit flat, then folded in
half and seamed. Tassels add a bit if whimsy.
