This is a very simple baby pattern based on a traditional design but updated to DK.It is very attractive in any yarn but really lends itself to a print with a reasonable run.
As the design is in garter stitch it is fairly greedy and the first size will take most of the 100g ball. I had enough to allow myself colour matching on the fronts but was not sure if I would have enough to do the same on the sleeves so didn’t try. One or two testers have managed it.
This is a particularly comfy cardi for baby as the garter stitch has lots of stretch.
