The Garter Stitch Rib Baby Blanket/Lap Robe is large enough to serve as a crib blanket or a lap robe. The edges are finished in garter stitch and the interior of the blanket is knit in alternating strips of garter stitch and stockinette stitch using a size 7 (4.50 mm) needle. It looks great in a long repeat variegated yarn or a solid color baby or sport weight yarn.
