This ring bag knitting pattern shows you how to make a ring bag from a single garter stitch square.

A traditional garter stitch square only yields 2 sides with ridges. Knitting garter stitch diagonally rather than up and down or side to side will yield 4 sides with ridges.

This bag is on the small side, more like an evening bag than a handbag. Use thicker yarn and bigger needles if you want a bigger bag.
