This is a simple garter stitch stripe table mat which is worked using short row shaping to form the circular shape. As it is worked in garter stitch it is an easy introduction to the technique of short row shaping. The table mat could be worked to whatever size is wanted by casting on more stitches for a larger mat and less for a smaller coaster sized mat. The design uses 3 colours of Rowan Felted Tweed.
