Pattern description from Knit Simple Magazine, Holiday 2006: “It’s the ideal starter sweater: Anyone who can knit garter stitch can ply this long, swingy-sleeved turtleneck.”

Knit Tip: “The sleeved body is worked sideways in one piece, so the only significant sewing involves attaching the separately knit cowl.”

Materials:

  • Duchess by Classic Elite Yarns, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 75yd/69m (wool/viscose/cashmere/angora/nylon)
  • 19 (21, 23, 25, 26) balls in #1009 proud peacock
  • One pair size 10½ (6.5mm) circular needles, 36”/91cm length
  • Stitch holders
