This is a very simple pattern. I always need a project I can do in the dark… either riding in the car or sitting at a movie theater. Whether you are a beginner or just want something you can do without thinking and immediate gratification, this is a nice easy project that can be done in a mere few hours. Gauge is not too important since as you are knitting you can decide how wide you need this.

Samples knit with DK weight alpaca and DK weight mystery mohair/wool mix (around 22 stitches per 4 inches in stockinette).

Knit sideways in garter stitch. To finish sew up the side seam, leaving an opening for thumb.
