The Gartinette Baby Dress is a comfortable piece with an original and timeless design.
It is knitted from the top down, in a combination of garter and stockinette stitch.
There are instructions to knit the romper flat or in the round.
And also the option to knit the body with wavy garter stitch sections or with straight garter stitch sections.

The step by step instructions have lots of photos, video tutorials and size colour codes to help you through your knitting project.

PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Available Sizes: teeny newborn (±2,250Kg/±5 lbs), tiny newborn (±2,700Kg/±6 lbs), small newborn (±3,150kg/±7 lbs), newborn (±3,600kg/±8 lbs), 0-1 months, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months.

  • Construction: Knitted flat or in the round (both options included)
  • Experience level: advanced beginner.
  • Yarn: DK/sport weight yarn.
  • Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” worked in stockinette stitch and 24 sts x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” worked in garter stitch, with 3,5mm (US 4) needles
  • Yardage: approx. 190-465 meters depending on size you are knitting.
  • Needles: 3,5mm (US4) straight needles or circular needles with approx. 25-40cm (10”-16”)
