Gartlet Shawl
The GARTLET SHAWL (which looks great on both sides) features the same stitch patterns in my ENCORE, ENCORE 2 & FINAL ENCORE shawls, but differently combined, to produce an incredibly versatile boomerang shape instead of a top down triangle.
Starting small, the shawl grows & takes shape, as you perform regular, simple increases & decreases.
This pattern offers HUGE potential for you to create all manner of interesting shawls, from an easy & intuitive design. I’m sure you’ll find it to be a source of some great, fun projects to unwind & relax with, anywhere!
3 OPTIONS for knitting are included in the pattern, & there’s also a DO YOUR OWN THING segment suggesting other possible variations. You can stop at any point in this design & instructions are also included on how best to do this to achieve continuity of the stitch patterns.
