Pattern can be adjusted to add more checkered rows or columns for more width or length.

Roughly 400g used in total. 3 colors of 100% medium cotton yarn - I used 2 skeins per color of Loops & Threads Classic Cotton (120yds/2.5oz skein/70.9g ea). Colors used: Black, “vista” (blue), and white.

Skill Level: Intermediate-Expert experience required (crochet experience required and knowledge in tapestry crochet technique as I DO NOT outline how to do tapestry crochet in this pattern.)
If you’re more of a visual worker you will be able to follow by large one page chart you can zoom in on or the smaller broken down charts throughout -OR- if you prefer reading you may follow text instructions for colors/stitch count per row.

• You can carry your colors behind your stitching or crochet around/over them like I do (I introduced both the blue and white with foundation row 1 and then the black I introduced at the first black stitch worked).
• Optional: you can block your work, I did not and it turned out just fine. If I were to wash my piece I would recommend spot cleaning only. If you must put in wash separately on cold, then block and lay flat to dry.
• Optional: you may also add fringe, tassels or pompoms on edging for finished customizations.
