Gatineau Hills
Correction of a correction! The wrong chart was included for the 60 stitch beginning. Both the 60 stitch and 72 stitch charts are correct now. I’ve only included the charts, if you would like the written instructions instead, please contact me.
I wrote this pattern for a toe-up class I am giving in Wakefield, in the Gatineau Hills. The sock starts with the gentle valleys, then trees from the Gatineau park and ends in a chevron pattern representing the higher hills. The yarn is from a Gatineau dyer, turtlepurl here on Ravelry, one is 460 yards and the other is 357. They were both a pleasure to knit with and the colours are great. No pooling with the subtly variegated yarns.
There are separate charts for both the 60 stitch and 72 stitch socks.
